FAQs

  • I (Dr. Brenda) will come to your home for 45-60 minutes depending on your child’s age and activity tolerance. I will ask lots of questions about your child and family to get to know you all better. I will provide hands-on physical therapy services that look a lot like play and stretching. Before I leave, I’ll make sure that your questions are answered and you have activities to work on until I return.

  • No, you do not. In the state of New Hampshire, patients can access physical therapy directly WITHOUT orders or a referral from a medical doctor. However, a medical doctor’s order may be required by your insurance to submit for reimbursement.

  • Playful Progress is based out of Bedford, NH. I travel within 20 miles of Bedford NH including Manchester, Goffstown, New Boston, Merrimack, Amherst, and Londonderry. Travel outside of these towns may be available for an additional fee.

  • Playful Progress is intentionally an out-of-network provider for all major insurance companies. This means that I do not directly accept insurance. My goal is to help your child achieve their goals without limits, especially those put in place by private insurance companies in regards to number of approved visits and when those visits can be utilized.

As a direct-access, cash-based provider, Playful Progress is able to offer immediate access to quality physical therapy services without cost surprises or restrictions. My pricing is transparent from the start.

While I do not directly accept insurance, I will create a SuperBill or invoice upon request if you wish to submit for reimbursement through your insurance. Reimbursement is unique to your insurance company and not guaranteed.

  • Payment is due at time of service with rates clearly outlined in intake paperwork. Playful Progress accepts credit cards, debit cards, and payment via our Venmo business account.

  • Currently I (Dr. Brenda Sacino PT) am only licensed to provide physical therapy services in the state of New Hampshire.

If you live outside of NH, I can offer in-person or virtual developmental consultations.

Consultations provide you with the opportunity to ask Brenda questions about your child and any concerns your may have about their development. This is not a physical therapy evaluation, but an opportunity to use Brenda as a resource, as you make decisions about the next steps for your child.

  • Playful Progress offers two options for motor-based play groups. Motor Play Workshops are one-hour-long group classes led by me, Dr. Brenda Sacino, pediatric physical therapist. Two different workshops are offered, specific to your child’s motor ability. During workshops, we will discuss how to achieve your baby’s next motor milestone, important age-appropriate ways to play with your baby, and have open Q&A. Sign up for a Workshop here!
